Helping you to deal with Eczema everyday

Hi I have had eczema since i was born, Ive tried everything and every way to deal with it, but nothing works, so im publishing my own tips for coping,

Hope they help.

This is from my own experience and shouldnt be taken as medical advice

 

Step 1. You are what you eat, especially with eczema, avoid cows milk products, milk,cheese,chocolate,yoghurt. cows milk is heavy and doesnt digest easily in the body,i also directly link cows milk to eczema. Goats milk is a great substitute, and it tastes much nicer,

 

STEP 2. Take showers not baths, sitting in your own dirt is not good for sensitive skin, when you get out, air dry, or dab yourself, dont rub sensitive skin with a towel.

 

STEP 3. Stop using creams, lotions and potions. all these do is clog up your skin, and your skin needs to breathe. Eczema is a by-product of another influence from within,cure the internal problem and the skin will heal its-self.

 

STEP 4. Flush out your system, drink as much water as you possibly can for a week, this will get rid of harmful toxins in your system.

 

STEP 5. Dont scratch. i know this is virtually impossible but there are ways to fool your skin into stopping itching, have a shower and turn up the heat higher than you usually would, this will burn your skin slightly, giving it something else to think about, this can also be achieved with a hair dryer. The only chemicals i use are allergy/hayfever tablets, these stop the itching for hours, but do make you drowsy , good to take at night, as this stops night scratching.

 

STEP 6. keep your nails cut short, this will help to stop major damage when you do scratch.
